If "Professional Hobby Collector" was a real job title, I’d be the CEO. I have a chronic condition where I see a cool craft and immediately decide it's my new personality. This has led to a lot of paint-stained clothes, a deep knowledge of obscure historical facts, and a photography habit that involves very old printing techniques and surprisingly successful gallery shows.

My kitchen is my lab, though the experiments are usually edible. I believe most problems can be solved with a good blues record, a home-cooked meal, and a bit of stargazing. I’m currently in the "highly enthusiastic fan" phase of jazz, which is a polite way of saying I have no musical talent yet, but I’ve got the spirit.
